1299. My Heart

 

This painting is one of only a few oil paintings I made. It is called My Heart for two reasons:  for my husband who gave me the roses and for Lebanon, where I had my first Turkish coffee.

1298. Formation

 

We visited Saugatuck, Michigan and stayed at a lovely bed and breakfast.  I was captivated by this stunning view of trees carefully planted on an angle.  I knew then I had to paint them to try to capture their essence.
