1105 Morning Walk
Even the weeds or wildflowers make a walk on city streets more enjoyable.

1058 He Loves Me
It's hard for me to believe that it's been almost a month since I posted a painting. The summer has been very busy with company, out of town visits, and of course gardening.
My husband knows how much I love flowers and he buys a bouquet for me every week without fail. The flowers he gave me were my reference for this painting, and I can't help but remember as a small child I would pull the petals off of a daisy, quietly chanting "He loves me, he loves me not." I wonder if kids do that these days. Everything is so different now.

951 Without a Care in the World
I painted this happy little painting while in Florida for a month long get-away from the cold weather. It was before we knew about the Corona virus and when we didn't have a care in the world. It was such a wonderful feeling to have no obligations and no stress, a rarity. My, how life has changed.
We are so lucky that we have a house, people to help us, and good health. But still we worry because there is so much to worry about. I often think that this is a test of our humanity (and definitely our patience) and a very strong message to slow down, appreciate what we have and be kind to one another.
